Akchour and God's Bridge
EasyA riverside trail to the famous natural bridge, with clear pools and small waterfalls.
Akchour is one of the most beautiful valleys in northern Morocco. Water flows all year between high limestone walls, with green pools where you can swim in summer.
The path climbs gradually through the forest to God's Bridge, a natural rock arch above the river, then returns the same way or along a path overlooking the gorge.
Trail stages
- Start from the Akchour car parkWalk along the river and cross small wooden footbridges.
- Pools and small waterfallsA short break by the water.
- Climb to God's BridgeA forest path with moderate climbing.
- Return and lunchA local lunch at one of the valley's restaurants.
